Its Hollow but it holds up Pretty Well… with School Glue even.
Anyhow, Tektonten has released a bit of the Shin armour for the HEV mark V
I MIGHT build it… got a few WIP projects to work through in the mean time like The Ecto-1

AWESOME
That’s an exhibition of Half-life paperCrafts… a few of them are from a guy called Chamoo232
https://chamoo_papercrafts.webs.com/gallery.htm
Please Note that DOG is unavailable atm
EDIT
Here are a few more Half-life papercrafts
(believe me, there are Tons More just a googling away)
https://www.papercraftmuseum.com/museum/?cate=Game-Half-Life
Ah, those were the ones that I was missing. Thanks.
Here’s my WIP Pic of the Day…
Who ya gonna call?
As you can see I made a terrible mess of the back Window and didn’t even bother Putting in the windshield Just today, I built the Grill and Headlights area, Fucked that up by placing the License plate off by a half-centimeter and not seeing it till it was too late… Oh Well, This is my Crappy First-time build (Like the Pulse Rifle and Wall-E [Ended up trashing him], I do Intend to Eventually Rebuild this better)
How do you get those curves to work?
Anyway, as soon as I get my hands on a camera I’ll get a picture of one I just finished. Its pretty screwed up, having been partially kept in storage for about a year, but oh well.
That DOG papercraft is amazing o.o
If, by Curve you mean the bit by the headlamps, I just folded the Cardstock little by little between my fingers and glued the paper INTO the interior of the headlamps… If you mean the Curves by the tail-lights, I did the same thing OVER the protruding piece. anyway, I figured out what I did wrong with the clear plastic pieces… I used too-hard of clear plastic.
Ah, thanks for the tip. Anyway, i found the ungunned head of this lying around in my closet and the uncutout template next to it, and decided it was finally time to finish it.
Its not the best, but its OK, I think.
Also, those guns were freakin’ annoying.
EDIT: Looking at those pictures, I should probably clean up my desk. Oh well.
oh wow, looks like you have a little trouble with Folding Glue Flaps,
if you have a Dull (to the extent of being unable to even stab through a bit of cardstock) blade handy, you can make fold lines a lot crisper… OH and Don’t Forget your straight-edge, Trust me, a Straight Edge can mean the difference between a part that looks vaguely like what your trying to make in paper to “OMFG, that looks amazing!”
For Round parts like the Cannons, if you roll the pieces over your blade handle or a toothpick and hold the shape with a set of tweezers while the glue Dries (don’t Glue with the implement in, trust me), it should be a great deal easier to form Cylinders.
Don’t Feel too bad, I made A TON of mistakes on my first model Here, take a look
Hell, I still make Newguy mistakes with my models. I’ll Highlight some of the Mistake areas on Ecto-1 on my next update
I’ll PM ya with a link to a forum full of paper modelers (afraid to post it here for fear of trolling)
Thanks for the link.
In my defense, even though I do suck, the side guns and whatever that thing under the head is were made a year ago.
Okay, As I Promised, Here are Two Pics of a Few Problems in My Build of Ecto-1
Back
Front
Well, the great thing about paper is that its cheap (usually).
While the bad thing about Printer Ink Cartridges is, They Aren’t (As Such, YOu wont find me making too many models that consist of mostly Olive-colored parts)
Well, the car is mostly white.
I was actually Talking about the remake of the Pulse Rifle/Jan’s Other Aliens Models.
Not much was done this weekend (Memorial Day Weekend is pretty busy in Grocery store land) I did install the roof/place the Rearview mirror/get started on the Hood
As you can see, Ecto-1 now has a roof to keep Egon/Winston safe from a fifty-ton falling Marshmallow (Ghostbusters: the video game)
And here’s the hood
Your models are pretty awesome, I’m a fan
I’ve found that I aint delicate enough to work with paper so I stick with airfix type modelling
Ever considered making a computer with all components in it? Would be awesome.
