Some of the models and mapping are in my opinion, Black Mesa quality. Their Glock looks particularly delicious. Also, dat Voltigore…:jizz:

I doubt they could catch up to BM’s level, they’re still using HL2 placeholder props in some of their levels. The weapon models look awesome though, I really like the spore launcher. And disco Voltigore is pretty groovy too.
That intro video with the concept art is pretty awesome
This mod has the potential to head in more of a war-film direction than the original, which would be excellent

I’m actually very impressed with the Osprey vehicle, the movements and flight seem really solid.
That and the disco was cool.
I never really had any interest in this mod in the past, but it seems like it’s starting to come together nicely.
The models look solid, but there’s a pretty big contrast between the vehicles and weapons (it looks like the vehicles/NPCs are screengrabs from a realtime viewport shader while the models are renders) - as such you can really get a feel for the normal/spec detail on the vehicles, while some of the weapons look like they have painted highlights instead of a true specular map. It’s difficult to get a feel for how anything looks until it is in-game, though.
Some of the levels look interesting, the biodome shot has to be my favorite aside from the bridge to nowhere, but the screenshots look like they were run through a sharpen filter (D . I’d love to provide additional feedback if there’s anyone from the team here, I think with a little more polish and thought the environments could be pretty awesome.
