I’m using Firefox, yes, but early this morning I was able to launch it without any issue. Unfortunately, I decided to stop it and get some sleep first, but I can’t download it since, and I don’t think Firefox got updated.

Just played through the maps. Great job, Text! I love the changes you made, they make the maps flow much better. And personally I love the Anomalous Materials stripes. All of my feedback was already posted except one point-the rock at the end of the cave tunnel has no collision.
I’m pretty sure rails aren’t meant to perfectly connect on turntables
My memory must be pretty shitty. For some reason I remember a tow there and I thought that area got a slight changeup.

Great job with this update! But I am always having game crashes on the last surface map (B2 I guess). After game restarting and loading saved game I am still having those errors. On map transition, sometimes every 10-12 minutes, sometimes after save-load, I am getting “Cant load lump 53, allocation of 9711065 bytes failed!!!” or just hl2.exe has stopped working. This makes B2 map unplayable. Any ideas how to fix this?
Those types of errors are more related to the game engine and is something Text cant fix. From what I can gather when you get that type of crash it just means that to much is going on on-screen. B2 is really “big” map with lots of stuff in it. Its happen to me a couple times. Its the curse of pushing a 9 year old to the extreme, no real way around it.
Couple of things:
- The papers in the zombie office room on A2 are not showing up.
- Where there any plans on making the guard on BM stock B map have a farewell line then leave to man the 50cal, or was the simply forgotten?

Right, thanks everyone who’s played the beta so far. I hope it was fun.
A lot of the bugs which have been reported so far are extremely minor, which is fan-bloody-tastic. There seem to be no major issues aside from the typical lump crashes, which I’m not really sure I can do too much about.
So, change of plans slightly. My friend stayed until very late today so I didn’t get any mapping done today - what I’ll do instead is I’ll release a “beta 2” tomorrow evening, and this will be the release which goes on ModDB and accompanies the video, which I’ve now decided to make. Should certainly be fine to spend tomorrow doing all that. Nearly all the changes are minor, aside from one. The only thing I’m not sure how to fix is the unresponsive headcrab on A1. I have no idea why they’re like that. Thanks everyone for the feedback so far, keep it coming, please!
RK brought up two things which concerned me, however:
I created my own unique texture for this console showing various parts of OaR Uncut. I checked the packaging for the Beta and I’ve definitely included them with the overall package, so it’s definitely wrong that you’re seeing Inbound. Nobody else has reported this problem - can others confirm if this is working as intended, or if they can see Inbound too? I’m guessing RK, that you installed something a bit weirdly, but I can’t say for sure until I hear from others. Not sure what else could’ve gone wrong here!
Yeah, something’s gone a bit wonky here, that’s for sure. I just checked my version of B against the BM Devs’ version and the outdoor area is oriented the same, you’re right. The reason I was so adamant before about me having reoriented it is that I DEFINITELY did it! I know I did, I remember doing it and lining everything up perfectly using skip brushes! The composite map I made using all my maps and joining them together has the outdoor area oriented correctly, which is another reason for me believing it was fine. I’m not sure how this happened, in all honesty, because I 100% remember doing it. I’m guessing at some point I must have reverted it or started using a different version for some reason, which I then promptly forgot because I’m stupid. At any rate, I will fix it, now that I know for sure that I haven’t done it. Sorry that I disagreed before, I was wrong! Really confusing me, though.
It must be the loop mod, that we installed that courses it.

Where those soldiers are on those big freight elevator (good job to move it up now), there was a MP5 (and the ammo I had was not at his max (normally 150 max, I was at 130), I couldn’t pick up the gun), the next one, I could pick it up

Just a single crash when u reach the HECU after u past the office complex, so when u past the crossing gates with the tram (u had to open them in the office complex)
