i’m at the part where you go outside right after lifting the rocket up to the launch pad. i went down the red basement doors and into a room with a holographic globing floating. i’m not sure what to do at this point; the door next to the globe is locked and there’s no other doors/vents in the whole area.

If you look at existing threads it’s pretty much all about Black Mesa at the moment. Perhaps it wasn’t originally intended as such, but people are helped at least.
When Raminator posts “PLEASE DO NOT POST ISSUES WITH BLACK MESA IN THIS FORUM” I think “issues” relates to crashes and bug reporting, which there is another subsection for. Help with being stuck on a map and asking for guidance fits into this current forum category, AFAIK.
how the hell do i launch the rocket though?
Go to the top level inside the room, where you can see the rocket through the window. Up there it should be a big red launch button if I remember correctly.
the windows are shielded with metal, so i can’t see outside (or any red buttons for the matter)
