Old Sketch-Dump :O

These are some old sketches I’ve done over the past 3-4 years, most of them are stills out of boredom, some are shit, some are decent, whatever.

90% of them are done within 5-10 minutes (hence the unfinishedness) to learn myself some drawing discipline.

Girl from class 3 years ago (no, she didn’t fall on the floor with the back of her head, I just sucked at getting the curve right):

Now for some random doodles and cartoony-stuff:

(Yes, I used to play WoW):

So there, besides trolling and trying to start a discussion with others, eventhough I don’t give a shit, I also draw.

Sorry for doublepost, but the image-limit didn’t get the last two on it :<

And for a mother’s day contest form a Belgian radio-station:

Those are some pretty cool suff. I prefer lifelike sketches.

Those are really good. I’m impressed with your ability to sketch the human form so easily and quickly- organic forms are the hardest.

I find it as hard as drawing still objects. It just boils down to looking and studying what you draw. My main tools are my eyes.

It’s the direct opposite for me, I can’t draw buildings or objects.

Pretty, why is she naked :fffuuu:

Awesome drawing skills there!
Moar plz!

Why wouldn’t she be?

It’s all for the sake of art. If you start out drawing models, it’s very important to include proportions.

nice anatomy studies. where did you study it from

From some guy who knows stuff about anatomy.

thats not how you study drawwwiingggg

I didn’t really study/learn drawing. I just draw.

Of course, since I followed Graphical Design in both high school and college, I had some drawing classes, but they were just “here’s stuff you can draw, now draw it”, so no real studying/learning, apart from doing it a lot.

yeah you’re lying when you say you don’t study. you may not think of it as studying, but youre still doing it. stuying like drawing for references and looking at objects to see how they react to light, are shaped, etc.

Well OK, that I do a lot (bad habit of mine is to check into things for graphical errors (and recently even errors in stories/plots).

But with studying, I thought you meant having an actual teacher showing me the tricks of the trade, or reading books on anatomy and stuff.

Nice Sketches…keep up the good work!

The zombie+ the hobo remind me of the style from Invader Zim. You are really good at sketching, keep it up!

Yarr, huge fan of Jhonen Vasquez’ style, my cartoony-style was greatly influenced by him. Even my current style (the spacey-floating-german-type-of-guy) shows a lot of influenced bits and pieces.

Illustrator or Photoshop?
