NOSTALGIA ALERT: The Purist Manifesto

Holy crap, this page is like stepping back in to 2006

I’ll be glad to upload any LF comic that anyone requests; I’m kinda having a hard time deciding which ones to upload next. :stuck_out_tongue:

One of the larger understandings IMHO, is that after this is released, and the game is proven stable etc, the forums will die down to next to nothing. These forums are for the expecting, and most of us will not make a return back after the download.

Ive been lurking BM forums for years, and certainly lost an account in the crash. Even funnier is that I applied to help skin some items, and when I got the toolbox model to skin, my Computer’s very own power supply died…Literally as I was getting ready to get my “shop” on. Glad to see we have a date now.

Sure we will. We have to wait for Xen next =P

I’ll be back. Hope to see you all post-release to laugh, complain, and be merry with you all as we wait for the rest of the game to be finished.

whoa

I missed you guys. ;(

So… here’s a picture of Raminator in a dress.

IT RETURNS AAAAAAHHHHHHH

Haha nice, I knew that picture would be posted here eventually.

You fools! I am eternal!

I remember the community projects way before the crash, there where made some sick Xen art and models, miss lurking around the old forums :frowning:
Wonder how much of the community made stuff that still is around in the mod?

I wish I could have read this the first time it has been posted. Well written.

I wonder if the alien dick gib ever made it into black mesa…

I want the first release of BM to coincide with an up to date picture of raminator’s arm.

Never change.

BOOMERA®M

Don’t tell me that is Raminator.

it is

I did not know that was Ram.

For some reason I always pictured him as being fairly muscular, and I have no idea why.

Post the comics!*

*just ones with me in them

Yeah the forums back then was a whole other level of strange :stuck_out_tongue:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
