sounds like some people need to run a fresh install of steam. I’ve been running beta from almost the first week it was available, the first week or two it had issues, but the past week or so have had no bugs, just a few options i still want to see implemented. Valve is still updating things though, so they’ll probably get implemented eventually.

This is the current list of suggestions that I’m still waiting to see implemented, once people get chat tabs and this, I don’t think there will really be any way it will really be able to be noticeably improved.

Completely wrong. The new webkit interface makes it faster, on websites, you can have more than one page open at a time, Paypal transfers are carried out IN THE STEAM INTERFACE.

It may be faster and so on, but I like the old interface and how everything was placed.

All they did is make it look ugly as FUCK, have font that hurts your eyes, gay ass baby blue borders around everything, and no fucking tabbed chat or friend grouping.

I love the steam in-game browser. Waiting for somebody, open it up and hulu. No need to alt-tab no mores. And it runs so smooth, considering I might have a game running full speed in the background. The only thing missing from the web browser is a checkbox to block sounds from the game while it’s open.

Just launched Steam this morning and apparently I have 0 games on my account… Thanks Valve!

It worked after yet another reinstall, but it was still fucking annoying.
