New Screenshots in Mark Foreman's portfolio ( WARNING: SPOILERS )

models and textures are perfect, i dont care much about the render, only thing im worried about is the animations, i saw a spoiler some months ago and there where some big tecnical problems with it, but if they nail the animation and the gameplay, this might be at the same level or over portal2 for me. well just have to wait

Those walkways in the generator Silo could use some guard rails…

they can keep improving it until the engine has reach its final limites then it is ‘done’

And then they will port it to latest version so development will take another 2 years

Epic. Too awesome for words to describe!

Do you see fan blades?

It’s not a fan, it’s a generator. I’m guessing you have to lower that top section down on to the main body of the generator to start it up, or something along those lines. Certainly makes more sense than how you solved the puzzle in HL.

No you didn’t.

That’s what I meant with " I can see gameplay".

Touché salesman.

if you ask me it was rather obvious, but then again, i actually played half-life before.

Orgasmic wonderment. I think this mod’s going to seriously rock.

Awesome!

Epic!

Wow… just wow

Looks amazing.

wait, does the health kit take cards? That’s awesome!

yep. Visa, MasterCard, American Express…

but not solo. nothing takes solo!

If either HL 1 or Black Mesa followed safety regulations they would be very boring games.

The environments look absolutely awesome, but I’m afraid I can’t recognize them from the original at all, and I played through it last night :frowning: I’m sure it will be fine in context, but I may have underestimated the immense differences BM will have.

I don’t really like the HEV and health chargers. They look a bit ugly, if you ask me. But it ain’t my call, so whatevs.

Nice update anyway.

Awesome.

Props to OP (and of course the devs)!

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
