Hi Please to announce this new pack for the MP5,357,Shotgun and more. Lots of time spent on this. Still tweaking would like opinions.

Cannot tell a difference between the different MP5 shot sounds. The sound is better, but needs variety. That’s why there are three, after all.

Change log:

MP5 - 3 diff sound files for each shot
Shotgun - HL1 remastered
357 - HL1 remastered

Still working on Mp5 trying to make a HL1 remastered version

I like the changes. The MP5 sounds much better. It sounds too… too weak with the original sounds.

I’ll play around with them in-game and get back to you on that. TBH I’ve just been playing the wav files and comparing them.

Most of the sounds seem pretty good to me in-game. The dual shotgun blast sounds a little too metallic, but it’s much better than the stock sound.

Yep, the singleshot sounds abit odd now to. Not as noticeable as the double shot.

Not to my preference, honestly. They all seem a bit quiet and unimpressive to me. The quality’s good, just the sounds aren’t my thing. Also, try doing something about the static on the 357 and SPAS sounds, if you can.

I’m liking the 1.4 sounds and the new MP5 so far. All the guns sound good. Before there was always one or two that didn’t sound right.

a lot more oommfff goodness, trust me you need to hear them in game to appreciate them.

Sounds good, but you’ll probably want to clean up the MP5 folder - there are multiple empty folders inside of it. Good besides that. Shotgun is much much better than stock.

You’re welcome. I’m going through my second play through right now and I felt like something was missing with the audio - came to this section of the forum and just happened to see your thread. I’m surprised no one else had said anything before me.
