New Arizona Law

This does nothing to deter anyone. illegally emigrating is already an incredibly dangerous act of desperation. Illegals do harder work than americans and for less money. People dont illegally emigrate for a better life they do it to save their families from dying in a country that is being ripped apart at least partway because of the usa

Stop the reason they’re coming here in the first place? Throw the EMPLOYER who knowingly hires illegals in jail. If it’s a corporation that hires them, then, on the third strike (the first and second strikes garnering extremely hefty fines), revoke their business license and shutter the business.

Do this and you’ll need to erect a fence to keep them from leaving.

Make it well known that hiring an illegal, of any nationality (“looking white” is no excuse for not checking), carries a high price.

And what is a factor the vast majority of illegals share?

Personally, I think the key is you check the legal status of people who are arrested/ pulled over/ slashed commit an offense of some kind (specificity is subject for debate). This means that they can’t claim racial profiling and it would cut down on illegal immigrant related crime.

Hurting businesses that hire illegals is already in effect in some states in believe. Interestingly enough, it got complaints of racism as well.

Repeal NAFTA, reform drug laws, some other stuff whatever, solve immigration “problem”

What does an “illegal immigrant” look like?

danny trejo

True. Mostly NAFTA. The Mexican economy collapsed immediately after NAFTA was enacted, as predicted by NAFTA opponents, which is why so many Mexicans feel the need to find jobs in the USA.

EDIT: Or, was that the joke?

Black communities tend to overlap poor communities which are faced with poorer schools and higher crime rates, but that’s no reason to give police the authority to tell people of inner-city origins (read: black) to empty their pockets every time they see them.

The majority of internet pricks share the factor of being suburban white kids. So get the fuck on the ground and put your hands behind your head, unless you’ve got your voter’s registration card to show you’re legally allowed to express your views. If you do, get that out every time a l33t cop decides you don’t look like a respectable internet user.

Blacks do not have equality in the field of petty crime, therefore police should racially profile negroes to make sure they aren’t up to no good. That wouldn’t be racist at all, would it Someonerandm?

im not actually sure what he even means there

Why are we even paying any attention to this asshole?

He thinks Crysis is amazing. No, not warhead. Vanilla crysis. The shit AI, slapped together levels, bad voice acting, TERRIBBLE physics, shit storm of a narrative, great but boring graphics, soulless Crysis.

Maybe we should shoot him in the face with a shotgun and see if he magically ends up upsode down, and then his uninteractive frozen statuebody just falls over with the weight of a feather. And them give him and award for looking good.

get the fuck back to Technology and Gaming and let us have our fun

It is an inequality far less than that between hispanic illegals and non-hispanic illegals. Also, I didn’t say that I actually agreed with that part of the law. As I said, I think the check should be done if they are arrested for other reasons.

Wut

[citation needed]

That’s not part of this law. Also, do you think they should do that for everyone arrested? If so, are you ready for the sudden increase in costs to the taxpayer? And how do you get around the protections afforded by the 4th Amendment?

I know its not part of the law, I’m saying thats what I would prefer to the law, as in its current state it is just asking for trouble.
I am ready for the increase in cost to the tax payer as it wouldn’t exist. By deporting instead of jailing, you save much more money than it costs to check if a person is an illegal immigrant.
The Fourth Amendment protects against unreasonable searches, and the identification of a person does not strike me as unreasonable.

EDIT: The statistics on immigration are something like 80% are hispanic, according to a Pew Hispanic poll.

Actually, the full text of the 4th Amendment is:

Identification of a person is not unreasonable; asking them to prove that they’re legally in the country, however, is. If you want me to have to prove I’m here legally, you need to get a warrant specifically describing what you’re going to search. You can’t get a blanket warrant.

Deportation doesn’t work because all you’re going to do is basically catch and release. They’ll just come back and they’ll KEEP coming back no matter what you try to do to stop THEM. Humans are resourceful. Build a 30 foot wall, they’ll get a 35-foot ladder. Bury the wall 30 feet into the ground and they’ll dig 35-feet underground. You deport them, they’ll be back again and again and again.

You can go overboard with safety, creating a police state (I wonder how many people are illegally immigrating to City 17…) if you want, but that’s not what America is about.

Instead, there’s a far easier and far more permanent solution which will be looked upon as SOCIALIST! or GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION IN THE FREE MARKET! that is much easier on everyone’s pocketbooks than tracking down and deporting Jose for the 18th time:

Prosecute harshly those that knowingly employ illegals.

PS: Can I see this Pew Hispanic Poll to which you refer?

Here’s the survey. Its five years old, but there is no reason to expect for the figure to have decreased.

I think we are just going to have to disagree on what is a reasonable search, as I consider the legality of a person to be entirely reasonable to know.

As to the ping-pong effect, my concern is removing illegals that break the law. Once they are here, and are law abiding, they are much better combatted by hurting businesses that employ them. By deporting people who break the law, you provide a much larger incentive to prevent them from breaking the law again.

As I’ve said, I’m not saying track down illegals, I’m saying when you have them for other reasons, then deal with them as illegals.

Do you really think that his gaming preferences makes his point less valid than anyone else’s? Everyone has some strange preference. I’m not defending his point, actually this law is in fact racist, but you should not retaliate him because he likes whatever.

We already covered he’s an idiot and shouldn’t be here.
