^ don’t forget to make it pressurized so that you can flick a switch and shoot harpoons out of it.
Whoever said that the propellant contains enough oxygen for combustion was right. Most guns should work just fine.
I’m glad my thread spawned this enlightening discussion.
What about a giant sword the size of a human, with a giant harpoon mounted on top of it, with a massive ball and chain fused with the harpoon, and Rick Astley wielding it?
The wielder would probably die as well.
I can’t believe we proved JeffMod right, this quickly.
Ballistic weapons would either use a propellent to launch a projectile or use a series of magnets to push a projectile with a great deal of velocity.
If anybody has seen land of the dead, the weapon john leguizamo uses most likely will resemble the weapons used in space and on mars.

To be frank though, lets hope human warfare doesn’t leave earth till we at least effectively colonize other worlds and have a valid reason to kill each other.
Killing people≠Joking about weapons on mars
So mini-harpoons? Good to know.
Rail gun :awesome: .
I suppose it could launch harpoons.
Brassknuckleknifegun.
You could shoot and stab yourself easily with that weapon.
Incredibly easily.
Isn’t the gun pointed at yourself anyway if you have your fist out?
Depends if you’re a lefty or righty
Smiley’s gotta be added.
That’s why Rick Astley wields it: Nobody’s gonna miss him.
EXACTLY! duh…
Not while compact… Its actually pretty well designed.
You justifying a weapon that’s not a harpoon? What has this world come to?..
