I’m gonna just say this; Link is a greater hero than Gordon will ever be. Course, he’s definitely a close second. Gordon’s status grew only because he survived Black Mesa and destroyed a giant alien thing by shooting it down with a rocket launcher. And then, ironically enough, beating it’s head in with a crowbar (at least, that’s how I went about doing it – mainly because I was out of ammo by the time I got there).
How is link a better hero than Gordon? Is it all the E-rated kiddy stories that make him so great?
