My first human model in Blender 3D

I made my first human model in blender and thought it was good enough to show off.
On a related note, If anyone can help me find a face reference for the model, it would be kindly appreciated.
The model was created in Blender 3D, has 766 polys, and took about 5 days to model. Feel free to criticize the model and tell me what needs to be fixed.

use subsurfacing.

Well you payed more attention to anatomy than most first-timers. Mostly people go “Hurr durr a box with limbs and a head”

Hands look flat.

Very good for a first model! I’m impressed! The only problem I found is, like Patonki, with the hands.

The hands aren’t really flat, its just the way the lighting is falling on the model.

Well, smooth 'em up. Boxfingers.

Does this make more money than selling your body to science?

I mean, would you rather be used as a reference, or turned into one of these?

(^These things are good to study for modeling humans)

:fffuuu: do not want!!! BTW i didn’t see your first model picture.

For some reason, Image shack deleted my picture, if you want to see it, look again.

use PHOTOBUCKET man.

Yes Photo-Bucket FTW

this image is the only thing I can see in a 4 month old thread, with imageshack the images stay for years.

Why does he have no pants?

Not bad, if you want real crits post shaded with wireframes over it. If you recalculate the normals it’ll probably make the hands look smoother.
