I’ve played guitar for about a year now.
And that’s my Epiphone. My dad has about 8 guitars though. So I have plenty of variation.
It’s fun to have one myself finally.

So, here it is. It’s simply a starter kit with new plates, thinking of selling the drums and buying better ones. Lot’s of grain and bad angle since it’s a narrow and dark space.
So I’m back from a testdrive at the band of a friend of mine - they’ll call me :hmph:
Hahahaha, I feel you.
I’ve been jazz drumming for five years now, but I can play a little rock and a little traditional, in case I get stuck in fucking marching band. My neighbors are dicks, so I had to buy a shitload of dampeners for my set.
Electronic music, trying to learn how to play keys. Pics of my setup to follow.
I’ve played cello for about 10 years now, in orchestra and solo. I also have acoustic nylon-string guitar and a crappy e-bass with a crappy speaker.
It’s not mine. It’s a friend’s keyboard. He wrote all the notes and put the stickers on.
Sorry, man. I didn’t mean it in a negative way at all. I’m completely self-taught, myself. It just takes a lot of practice to get down, I suppose it’s because although I listen to metal more than anything, I love to play stuff with a sort of jazzy feel to it. A lot of people who want to play drums, when they first get a set, first thing they do is randomly just smash everything as hard as they can. No wonder drummers are dying out.
Bleh, took it too seriously.
I’m mostly a rock-man myself, but recently got into different styles. Had a lot of free time during summer, and got my set up after a long time. There wasn’t any place to have them set up, until I cleaned a messed up room. Took two days, but was totally worth it. And since my old band is kinda torn apart atm, I focused on training instead of just playing stuff I already know.
These are my toys. I need a bigger desk.
Oh yeah? Mine are 830 miles away, and my brother just cracked one of the cymbals. But my roommate has a sweet V-drum kit, so all is well, I guess
Anyway, along with the drums, I play single-reeded woodwinds and I sing. I also write marching band arrangements.
My guitar is 5 feet away! Beat that!
OK
My Piano is 3 ft. behind me.
.
I beat all of you my computer is right in front of me its where I attempt music at least never share any of it because its terrible.
My vocal chords are in my throat! hahah!
My drums are one foot away. I can barely feel the ride cymbal brushing against my neck if I lean back.
Ok…
Now my guitar is in my thr… Can’t… breathe… Need… Help…
Have played drums for a small while, and created electronic music for even smaller while.
I didn’t see this the first time around. I am in the same boat.
I am considering buying one of those Roland electric sets with the mesh heads. Those are sweet. The cymbal pads are still kind of crappy, no matter what brand or quality you buy, but the actual drum pieces play really nice.
I would buy a real set, but where I live noise is a factor
Not here, in Bumfuckville, USA. I live in the middle of nowhere.
I would like a new set, though. They’re in okay shape, but they still sound like shit. I want to get some Pearl Visions, or something pretty decent.
I do love my OCDP snare, though. Mmmmm…
