Music of Black Mesa Source

I’m sure it will be, I’m just looking forward to hearing what we haven’t heard so far.

You circled the Black Mesa logo…

Anyways, we’ve only heard a fraction of Nielsen’s music and it already sounds fantastic and very half-life esque. I almost get a feeling of nostalgia just from listening to it even though it’s not anything we’ve heard from the original game.

A lightning-fast reply there.

Is this thread no longer about Black Mesa’s music?
Can it be closed now?

Sorry, I’m running on Valve time :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey does anyone know the name of the song in the black mesa teaser, not the trailer but the teaser.

That was epic music

Was it composed specially for that trailer?

Yes, it was. You can find the music here.

Labeled as “Black Mesa Teaser Trailer Music”

Such an awesome track, file planet doesn’t seem to work though

Cheers

haha good times, I remember that update. Its a shame updates have all but gone extinct in this dark and BM less decade :/.

I like the soundtrack used in the video showing the houndeye animations. Will it be ingame, too?

It sound awesome as well, answer?

It would make sense.

Joe Nielsen - WGH Topside (BMS)

Fort Minor - There they go

they’re different enough

and enough similar (:

I am not trying to say it’s a ripoff
I just think Joe Nielsen’s music sounds kind of mainstream.
HL series epicly wins with its soundtrack, such… you know, “different” (not firstly, but still)

There will be no music in BMS, only time you’ll hear anything in the background is Enya playing in the distance on Xen :expressionless:

Yet another :expressionless: smiley! <3

But haha, I lol’d. Nice.

That’s on the Bullsquid one, not the Houndeye one. :expressionless:

Oopsies, silly me.

The Houndeye one isn’t released yet, I think you have to wait until the mod is finished.

Hope there will be over 20 songs in BM:rabies::rabies::rabies:
