Multiplayer Player Models

I second the vorts in MP! It’d be pretty cool watching vorts run around with guns, or even having Vorts Vs Human matches

Xen Creatures vs Humans CTF or Domination would be so awesome. Hell, a HECU v Black Mesa Personnel v Xen team game would be epic. However that’s more of a Daydream Thread issue.

I think that the multiplayer models should just be characters that feature in the mod. (Freeman, Barney, HEV, Scientist, HGrunt, Commando and assassins.) Aliens would be too clunky to include without breaking the flow of deathmatch.

^ yes.

About multiplayer modes Deathmatch will have the same models like in HL1? remaked of course

Completely unrelated comment. Please put spaces after the period. It is kinda irritating.

Stop ressurecting all old threads, for God’s sake!

Erhum Ivan the Space Biker. Please?

A penis is more likely to make an appearance than Ivan the Space Biker.

But then again, the BM Dev team have surprised me before, so anything’s possible.

An Android bot model! :3

The classic “[COLOR=‘Red’]ERROR” Source model.

So long as HECU grunts are playable, I’m good.

Helmet HEV suit, thank you very much.

Gina, Gman, Guard, Scientist, Helmet, Gordon, Grunt, (Robo?) Zombie.
THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH.

Dog.

I thought Source used hitboxes for muliplayer instead of mesh detection.

Isn’t that why you can download custom models for CS: Source and Deathmatch and still not have it create an unfair advantage?

I hope Black Mesa Deathmatch will feature a model based Team Deathmatch mode (Model = Team, like in original HLDM).
And I hope it will feature all default Playermodels, which are also in original HLDM (Gordon, Barney, Helmet, Scientist, Gina, G-Man, Robo, Zombie, Recon and Hgrunt) It would be cool to also have the cuigar guy (already mentioned before in this thread, aka known as the Heavy Weapons Guy), some Hgrunt, Zombie and Scientist variations.
I think it is also very important to include temp-colours to make it possible to use individual model-skin colours (also was in original HLDM). That feature is very cool in Team Deathmatch, so all the models in a team can use different skins and do not look completely identical.

What the hell are you talking about? PS3?

He’s viewing the website on his PS3, and he’s complaining about a video player i think.

Why not just, You know, View it on a fucking computer?

Because that would be smart.

Smart is hard to do.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
