Mechwarrior, especially since I’m getting a new PC and will actually be able to run it!
Speaking of…

Doubt it. Not for a while at least, a simultaneous release date at this point is “impossible”.

C:\Program Files\Steam

No. Halo: Reach is the last Halo game made by Bungie. In other words, it will be the last good Halo game. Microsoft will still milk the damn thing until it’s dry, like Activision and Call of Duty.

I don’t think they would of done that. In fact, I read somewhere that after they made Halo: Combat Evolved, they wanted to make a game based off a new IP, but Microsoft wanted Halo 2.

Because making another 3 games after the official story arc is over isn’t already milking it to its last sour dribbles or anything.

Three? I only heard of 2 new Halo games made by Bungie. What’s the third one?
I like to think of Halo: ODST and Reach as Bungie’s farewell to the franchise, not a milking. If they were going to milk it, they would continue working on Halo and stay as a one trick pony forever. Instead, they’re making just two more “gifts” for their fans, then moving on.
Besides, Halo’s story sucks (it has THE most retarded love story ever), so who cares about the “story arc”?

I’d say that Halo Wars is a game, I’ve never played it, though. All I know is that RTS’s were designed for PC’s, and should stay that way.

Halo Wars wasn’t developed by Bungie. I never played it either.

Oh, I didn’t know Bungie didn’t make it.

He’s saying Microsoft is milking it, not your precious Bungie.

I was actually referring to Bungie, but Microsoft is worse, really, if they’re willing to license off the Halo name to any studio to make a quick buck because they know millions of gamers will buy it.

Reviewers were okay with it, and people listen to them. Maybe Microsoft is good for a couple of “good” Halo games before it goes the way of Sonic. (Good meaning Halo semi-fans will like them).

Exactly. At least Bungie has quality standards (in my opinion.)
I’m not a blind Halo fan like many think I am. I could rant all day about all my gripes with each game. But in the end, I have fun playing Halo, and that’s all that matters.

Yep.

  1. BMS
  2. HL2 Episode Three
  3. Wolfenstein (delayed again to late august)
  4. Aliens vs Predator 3
  5. Aliens: Colonial Marines

Hmm, difficult to say really. These are definite ones for me.

BMS
HL2:Ep3
Bioshock 2 (Already preordered :stuck_out_tongue: )
Portal 2

I’m not going to put L4D2 down because although now that more details have been released it makes me feel more inclinded to play it, I’m still not sure about paying full price for it. Other than that, Modern Warfare 2 just seems to be yet another unnecessary sequel in the CoD series, Crysis 2 doesn’t even need a reason not to be mentioned and the same goes for other arbitrary sequels :stuck_out_tongue: Oh and a game that I’m condemning is Halo:Reach, because similar to CoD, the Halo franchise has been milked more than a 30 year old cow on a milk production line.

Reviews suck.

Critics know what they are on about, and there is only one critic I need.

+10000 coolness points.

Yahtzee ftw.

I’ve learned not to trust reviewers.

^Especially anything from Cnet.

I was thinking more along the lines of GameSpot, actually.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
