moddb serious spam issue

Idk if this has already been adressed, but I have recently been on the moddb black mesa website, and i havn’t counted how many pages, but several pages are full of spam made by MrDead saying the project is dead. I know the project isn’t dead but he has been trolling for a long time on the page now.

I am honestly not gonna jump to conclusions, but i think that MrDead (it’s his moddb name) is doing most of the vandalizing on this site.

He may be maximino.

hmm maybe, although MrDead did spam the moddb page

nvm, mrdead is banned.

By the way, double posting is frowned upon these parts, pardner.

Yes, MrDead has been nothing less than a total annoyance on the moddb site and I’m willing to bet was the one who labeled the wiki with the lovley tubgirl pics. I sent a message to support at moddb and they banned him.

he returned under the guise of : ͏͏͏͏

What’s the worst that could happen?

famous last words there

Note: I know my keyboard is fucked up.

[offtopic] How many new guys with the paper bag avatars have been posting on this thread…[/offtopic] You can’t “ban” the spamers from your ModDB page?

Why do some people have the same avatar?

It is the default avatar.

aka: I’m new an there is a 5% my post is of value and a 95% chance my post will be annoying.

Spamming the moddb page? Good God these people are madmen.

The point is that some fans stepped in to clean up the moddb page and it was the same kid who defaced the wiki. I dont think moddb gets much attention from the devs and thats where alot of other people check that dont know to check here for recent updates. sry if that was 95% annoying for I am new here.
