Mod Progrss Bar

Since the mod will be released this year, a calendar would work best as a progress bar. When it’s December 31st, the mod will be complete.

Heres your update, it has to be mathematically at least at this point, or else the team is behind, but I bet they arent. They better not be.

Whoops sorry forgot to imitate the blur on the end of the progress bar. Here, fixed.

Here is how I look at it…

That’s a bit presumptuous of you. :brow:

Well for the sake of a status bar, they are at least always moving forward.
Even if it had to be redone, its farther than nothing, so I still think we can say they are 90% done. They know where they’re headed, they know how to get there, they have experimented, they know what they are doing., i that sense they are 90%.

See, the problem is, now someone will find that bar and assume that it’s official, and before you know it, the entire internet will be spouting “ololol teh balck meas iz nien-tee purcent done omg,” and the devs will be very annoyed, because nothing good can ever come of it for them.

That’s actually not a very good example. It shows only that you didn’t realise you should average the numbers from the different rows instead of adding them all up (giving 0%, 17%, 43%, 59% and 100% for the overall percentages at the bottom of the columns), whereas I think the problem is more how difficult it would be to get all that info into a spreadsheet and keep it accurate than what the results of the spreadsheet would give. For one thing, something may at one time be considered 80% done, but it could then be restarted several times and take three times as long as that just to reach 50% done in the new form, making the numbers in the sheet a mockery.

I think Carlos should have the last word on this:
