I get a sort of place-holder when changing chapters or any other time something is supposed to print out in front of you - such as Gordon’s stats at the end of the opening tram ride.
At first I thought it was from a modified/corrupted download from a not-so-official source, but I’m still getting it after nuking and then using one of the official sites. So I’m pretty sure it’s something on my end causing it. Any ideas, folks?
I didn’t use the included installer, I just 7z’d it into a folder I created… called “BlackMesa” …
