Metal & Rock'n roll lovers , gather here

That’s a pretty accurate list to mine as well, give or take a few.

Might as well take this thread seriously.

Alice in Chains
Nine Inch Nails
Queens of the Stone Age
Megadeth
Soundgarden
Red Hot Chili Peppers

I’d try and think of more rock bands that I like, but right now, its Electro all the way.

Here’s my list (if it includes sub-genre of Rock and Metal):

30 Seconds to Mars

Slipknot
Story of the Year
System of a Down
Tenacious D

And I didn’t include bands that I only listen to a song or two from them. But tbh I’m more an electro guy.

Alright, guitar music:

One song:
Axamenta
John Mayall
Sweet Smoke
Ten Years After

That’s not including jazz, blues and reggae artists that also use guitars. There’s also a couple of compilations that I could have taken some artists from, but meh.

I can’t believe I actually made that list though, no one cares and no-one’s going to read it.

I enjoy architects and municipal waste, but for the most part metal is kind of bland.

A whole bunch of stuff from the 70’s and 80’s.

haha awesome

Tool
Breaking Benjamin
Aerosmith
Disturbed
Five Finger Death Punch
Korn
Led Zepplin
Linkin Park
Metallica
System of a Down

(One album of)Testament

And here are a few bands I have one or two songs from:
AC/DC
Alien Ant Farm
Avenged Sevenfold
Black Stone Cherry
Bon Jovi
Catch 22 (ska, I know, but fuck you)
Chris Cornell
Drowning Pool
Eagles
Journey
The Used
Sick Puppies

Since all of you added ur favorite I’ll add mine :

Metallica
Nirvana
Slayer
Bilocate
Anathema
Cannibal Corpse
Opeth
Queen
Steel Dragon

I used to only listen to classic rock stuff like Queen, AC/DC, Pink Floyd.
Then one day I heard Chiodos and gave harder heavier music a chance.
Then I realized the heavy music was too stagnant all it was to me was lots of low notes and fast strumming. At this point I discovered Indie Rock and Dance Rock and now my musical tastes range in almost every genre except country music. Some of my current favourites are

Foxy Shazam
Black Kids
The Cure
Vampire Weekend
Miike Snow
Passion Pit
Mystery Jets
Genghis Tron
Between the Buried and Me
Rick Wakeman
Arcade Fire
Architecture in Helsinki
Crime in Choir
Death From Above 1979
MGMT
Ra Ra Riot
HORSE the Band
Gregory & the Hawk
