Finally got FRAPS to record at more than 1 fps Max Payne 3 Multiplayer - North Favela Deatchmatch
This is more of a general MaxPain question, but my audio for Max Payne is fucked up. I know there’s a converter that makes all the audio files readable in windows vista and 7, but it only fixes like 3 of the files, and gets rid of all the cinematic audio. Anyone know what’s up?

Saw that while looking up multiplayer trailers for MP3 
looks like the game still has some bugs…
It does - I shot a guy and he cartwheeled towards me at light speed, somehow killing me in the process. Still fun as hell, though.
Yeah, the ragdolls/Euphoria animations freak out sometimes but it’s not very common.
Edit: Doing something to allow me to play MP3 from my SSD to see if it helps with the long ass load times. Will report back when I test it.
Edit 2: It cuts down on some and allows you to skip them but a lot are still incredibly long. I wonder why they’re so long. I’ve never had a game on PC take this long to load.
Something I noticed that was odd is that some of the “loading screens” still actually seem to be in game, like on some of them I can actually see level geometry loading in sometimes
Also just played some of the MP2 demo because it’s been so long and MP3 made me want to check it out again. It’s fun, but damn, do the mechanics in MP3 feel better.
Yeah, some of the cutscenes that say “Still Loading” when you press enter are in game and others are prerendered. I have no idea what’s up with the loading in this game, it’s all over the place.
It’s never long though like you mentioned. ANd personally I’ve not seen any loading while ingame, the only long loading I get is when starting the game, and that’s only because of the social club login
That’s what the cutscenes are though, loading screens. Which is fine until you’ve watched the same cutscene 10 times and want to skip it but can’t.
they patched the game. add -nomouseaccel in launch options, it disables mouse acceleration
I didn’t have a problem with it before but I’m going to try it anyway. Rockstar’s going all out with pleasing their customers with this release.

Also, the sensitivity doesn’t slow down to a crawl anymore when you are diving or proning in multiplayer. Definitely makes the shootdodge more useful (and more like MP1 and 2)
I got so used to playing with the mouse acceleration at full sensitivity while playing MP3 that it felt weird turning it off lol
As ridiculous as this MP1 skin looks, there are actually times where it kind of looks cool while looking close to the original model (not in those screens though)
Yeah, now I can’t aim anymore unless I turn vsync off, which gives me tearing

Edit: It seems to have hit my FPS too. I’m going to try and turn it off and see what happens.
Edit 2: Yeah, this update like halved my framerate. All because some people can’t fucking adapt to some minor mouse stuff.

A Max Payne collab comic with Marvel, Rockstar, and Remedy - Dan Houser AND Sam Lake are writers for these which is pretty cool. Supposedly it bridges the gap between MP2 and 3, or so i hear
So I have a couple questions for anyone who might know.
In Score attack, how many points do you lose for dying? I’m having a pretty difficult time on “anyone can buy me a drink” part 2, trying to rack up big scores while staying alive.
Also, can you unlock other cheats while using cheats? I’m trying to get unlimited bullet time to go through hard difficulty, cause quite frankly, I suck at this game. Will the health cheat or whatever it is unlock if I’m using the bullet time cheat to unlock it?
You can’t collect stuff or get achievements when cheats are on so I would imagine that even if it’s a cheat you unlock by not collecting stuff it would be disabled as well. I went through a few times collecting gun parts and wondering why it wasn’t saving and found that it won’t do it if you have cheats enabled.
I’m not sure for the first one. Try going through and getting some points and then purposely dying and see how many points it takes away.
