Did anyone else do surds in year 9? What the fuck was that shit?
Don’t mention surds, I fucking hated them.
My mistake, I though that it was you who asked that question. And no, I don’t have any private update.
I see Mathematics as a key that will open doors, and once the doors are open I will toss the key aside into a fiery, acidic pool of toxic waste. I will rescue it before it burns up completely and then jump up and down on it. Then I will eat it, pass it through my digestive system and crap it out into the worlds filthiest toilet, which I will in turn explode with 1000 tons of TNT.
:jizz:
We just learned derivatives in Calculus today. I was actually EXCITED for math. Good day.
I know, you had that sudden realization that math could be useful, like, with the rate something changes.
…You won’t get that rush with integrals. It’s just backwards.
gotta re-learn all calculus and every part of a levels maths for my physics degree, without a calculator… :’(
You do not need a calculator for calculus other then when you need to find the exact value of your answer.
Oh, it gets more fun down the road when you learn the anti-derivative known as integrals.
Are you acctually serious when you say math’S’ is fun?..
yes
Each man to his own i suppose = ]
Personally i find it tideous, and in my case, difficult.
But… but I just told him the exact opposite! Stop contradicting me in front of the kids!
Glad to see I’m not the only one.
Mommy quit hitting Daddy!
Its only difficult without practice
If you do it almost daily like me then it sticks and becomes fun
Math is also amazing & beautiful :
Take for example Euler’s identity : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zApx1UlkpNs
