(This is not my entire map,but some of it) Hope that it was good enough and this is my second map that I have made.

looks awesome! definitely too good to be a first try. where could I download it (if I could)?

I haven’t uploaded it yet,but I will soon. Just got to add some small extra details to the map before I release it. And thnx for the comment!

pretty impressive, but there are 2 things:

1- You should make displacement or w/e so that we don’t see that it is a “cube”

2-second floor has bad lightning/ choice of texture

Where is the light coming from? Why is the concrete on fire? Why do all the barrels face the same way? Why are the textures not aligned? What is each room’s purpose? Why can you see the edge of the map? Why isn’t the ground displaced? Why is that bath-like thing made of grass? continues ranting like an old man

I think it demands more minor details.
Otherwise well done.

And light props and non-white lighting and a 3d skybox and proper env_lighting and an env_sun and random yaw props and displaced ground and texture alignment and an explanation for the rooms.

:expressionless:

Everything is far too empty and undetailed. If you can’t think of what to detail it with, go outside, look around, and that should give you a few ideas. It is a good start though. Also, fix those unsourced lights. Its not too hard.

I have already added displacements(but I haven’t uploaded a pic of it yet),but as you already did mention,I will add env_sun and some other details to make my map look better. But thnx for the feedback everyone,I really appriciate it!

Ah, but that openness is a necessity for HL2  m.
