Many graphic glitches

I just installed the latest AMD Catalyst drivers then downloaded BM. It glitches out on moving polygons. Check out the Screen grabs.

It apperas that your graphic gard is unable to handle the game, since the ‘triangle’ corruption in most cases is comming from GPU itself. Your HD 3400 looks pretty weak (however I’m not an ATI specialist), is released in 2008 and got only passive cooling. I’d suggest you to check GPU temperature while you play the game - most likelly there is an overheat issue.

And if there is an overheat, here is a few tips:

  • Remove dust from graphics card cooler/
  • Reduce graphics settings, especially the Anti Aliasing.
  • If nothing else help, you’d have to replace your GPU for something more powerfull with active cooling and designed for games.

These issues look exactly like what I experienced back on my old ATI as it was going bad. It was a cooling issue and I got an extra month out of the thing by opening my case and pointing a fan in it (had to wait on a paycheck). The graphics look like the Z-Buffer just suddenly fails, and all the polygons just kinda paint wherever with weird verticies.

I guess the real question is if you’ve seen anything like this in any other game? I was able to crank down the graphics on my old card and it’d survive better if only because it had less work and heat to do.

I also have the ati 3400 and am experiencing the exact same issues. I will probably buy a new gpu.
