Lucky number 13

Wow, very good and detailed! …those little displays reminds me of those in Alien movie …which is perfect…you´re a real magician, Brian, just keep going.

THAT quality. Nice work!

They kinda look like a stove from the back. shrugs looks good Brian.

Ha a bit yeah, but I wanted to detail them so they had something visible from the back. There are several areas in the game where the only thing visible of the consoles are the back sides (AM/UC right off the top of my head) and I wanted them to at least be something other than just gray boxes.

Luckily for us our NPCs can’t feel anything so this isn’t a problem

Looking great are the consoles! Great work!

Damn that dolly/lift looks especially fine. Those console backs are neat too!

Great job! They look great!

First console finished.

Looks really good!

It looks very nice.

Nice…especially those keys

Great, now the fine team at Black Mesa can launch missiles, as long as both keys are turned simultaneously!

Both missile launch keys left in console 24/7.
bring your daughter to work day goes horribly wrong
wait

Got them all finished. They are in game with new post RC screens. Here are some screens showing the backs etc.

If it weren’t for the snow I wouldn’t recognize that last area - the new console props have left it totally overhauled!
They look fantastic, and I am loving those screens on 'em, what with the late 80s embedded crt aesthetic.

Really impressive.

I am especially satisfied with the look of the back of the consoles.

Those look really good may I ask; Where do you get all of the ideas and inspiration to make the consoles look like actual consoles without having them stuffed with unnecessary details. Like it’s one whole console?

Oh god, they still look like stoves from the back, I can’t help but laugh at it. They look great in the environment though.

On the otherhand I just got another realization today when watching a stream (which I posted about in the Unofficial Chat thread). Brian, I’d like to thank you for your interactions with the community despite the hiccups along the way. It’s really insightful.

Nice, looking very fancy!

On another note, just to emphasize what Chickenprotector said:

Thank you for what you are doing. Before I ran onto this forum, I would often search for information regarding the continued development of BM and would inevitably end up empty-handed. Writing this blog, is truly awesome, and is something I have been searching for for a long time. Thank you for showing us your models and for cordially providing insightful comments into your development process.

Keep it up!
