Well, you could technically, but the school finds a way to track you down, as each persons computer is theirs and theirs alone. You could use someone elses, but they would probably find out. But no, he mostly concentrates on getting people who do do something and hoping that that discourages others.

Well that tickles me, I was going to call this the most evil thing I’d ever seen. I would NEVER try something like this on my computer. My files are irreplaceable. 250 gigabytes of files for seven years of work and development. If my hard drive died, I would probably literally kill myself, I can’t think of anything more evil (computer-wise) than an application that deletes your files.
But for once the high and mighty Macs get to feel the pain?
Its not like its a virus…
You have 7 years worth of files and no backup system? Seriously, spend the $150 (at most) and save yourself the tears/hair pulling of a hard drive failing.
