Old
I’m more a CTX VL501 man myself.
If we’re gonna talk CRT, the SyncMaster 755DF from SAMSUNG For the WIN!! Native resolution? LOLWUT?
The Asus VH242H
It’s 23.6" LCD monitor with built in virtual surround sound speakers and it has full 1080p support, comes with a DVI, a VGA and a HDMI input and 5ft cables for each connection, a 5ms response time, 30 000:1 contrast ratio, different video setting modes etc.

One of my close friends bought one and he loves it for games, movies and internet on his computer and watching cable tv through his computer’s tv tuner card. the colours are extremely sharp and the blacks are very crisp too, it’s worth the 230$C.
I don’t want a monitor with speakers.
you don’t need to use them, it’s just comes with it free.
They sell it at Wintronic computers if you’re in that area.
Lol, virtual surround sound, love the marketing spin.
Also, I see your Asus inputs, and raise you ViewSonic 28" inputs!
I’m talking about the speaker, not the 3.5mm connection. When something is in the back in a movie, it sounds like it’s coming from behind, also has to do with the room you’re in I guess. It’s comparable to a virtual surround sound speaker on a Toshiba TV. It’s just enhanced stereo in a way.
I know what it is, and I know that it sounds like shite compared to 5.1.
The speakers would be like 3 Watt!
Yeah even my old-ass 27" 720p television has 6 built in speakers that sound awesome as hell.
It’s not a special feature, it’s standard.
