no biggie…is just annoying. The site works fine if you avoid pressing the refresh button

Chrome is superior anyways imo.
I use both for different accounts, but I always use chrome for this site.
Last time I checked Chrome has some catching up to do in the accessibility department though.
Which means?

Soooooo… About that Maintenance that happened, Flawless right?
well…did you notice any major…well ok minor glitches? 'cause if you didn’t, why ask? I mean no disrespect but if something went wrong they prolly would’nt admit it …so just assume that everything is A-OK … mmmkay
I think you missed the joke…
It’s been nice lurking with ya…
How many downloads are you guys expecting on launch?
Probably 30k in the first 24 hours. Maybe more, maybe less.
If you release it as a torrent too, I can make sure that it will be seeded from a few, maybe a dozen 1gbit boxes. Let me know in advance if you gonna do it and I’ll see if I can prepare even more than that.
Torrent Download is confirmed for the release date. Several community members have stated wanting to mantain a maschine for the sole purpose of seeding (and some have very impressive data transfer rates). Additionally, Dev team wouldn’t provide torrent as a dl-possibility, if they themselves wouldn’t even by their own have enough capacity to cope with dl-numbers. We all should be perfectly fine on the torrent side.
Eventually this will take load away from other servers hosting the mod traditionally. So the front is served, too. If Valve even encompasses BM on Steam, just for the shits and giggles of it - nothings gonna stop this baby.
Edit: sadly, all this maximized infrastructure will prevent the community from raising up our monument for the release date: burning the internet (if even only for few hours)
Wow… Torrent is already confirmed. Why are we still along for one?
Ninja’d.
Needed to… and didn’t. And sadly, still aren’t supporting. Sad, I was so excited for D3 for the past decade and then release = disappointment.
But…no need to worry about that now, because Black Mesa is here and I am VERY doubtful any of us will be disappointed with it. Especially since we’ve seen the game through its development (unlike the aforementioned D3).
Load balance away
So yeah, well.
If torrent is confirmed we’re all gonna be fine.
Competition for 1st 100% in µTorrent? :retard: :fffuuu:
Hey!
Why were the funny 404 pages replaced by some generic google-it stuff?
Is that the part of the update, or an oversight?
I would imagine it was an oversight caused by moving the forums to a separate server. The file that defines which page to go to in a 404 error was just forgotten in the rush, probably.
404 pages still exist, though every page seems to say “I think is a pretty cool guy. eh and doesn’t afraid of anything.” instead of inserting the random elements.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
