Last Film You Saw

Final cut was a huge improvement on theatrical. Good movie.

Agree

I just now got around to watching Pineapple Express… Not even knowing about it or knowing what it was about (gotta get out from under this rock more often…) It’s definitely one of those “shut yer brain off and just roll with it” sort of movies. I did just that and actually enjoyed it for what it was
And I was completely sober.
(unlike right now)

Watched Alien and Aliens again for the first time in a little over half a year (around), still my favorite films.

For being mostly considered an action flick, Aliens does a great job at building suspense.

Watched “Castle in the Sky”, by Miyazaki, 27 years late.
I love him. All his movies are so magical, and powerful. Although my favourite one remains “Spirited Away”, which also likely ranks as my favourite movie of all time.

Here Comes The Boom. It’s the best Kevin James movie I have seen. It only had two or three embarrassingly bad moments in it, and they were all short enough to almost be ignored. The drama in it was real, the comedy in it was enjoyable (though I wouldn’t classify this as a comedy), and the fighting was authentic. There wasn’t anything in it where you would roll your eyes and say, “That wouldn’t happen” (probably because most of the stuff that happens in the fights is taken in one way or another from real professional fights).

I enjoyed the movie a lot. I would definitely watch that again.

Just finished Seven Psychopaths. Pretty good movie. The plot was kind of crazy in how everything went but I’m sure it was meant to be like that.

Saw Django Unchained today, was fucking awesome, I reckon it was one of Tarantino’s best films.

I saw the Three Stooges the other day and i diddnt hate it

I was really expecting the two black women in the film to be the same black woman.

It was both everything I expected it to be, and yet didn’t go where I thought it would.

Re-watched my favourite movie, “Spirited Away”. 11 years have passed since the first time, but it still gives me those powerful emotions. Made me wonder how many things it “transmitted” to me.

Finally got around to watching Blade Runner.

I saw the Final Cut version, and I liked it, even if it was a bit hard to follow at times, but it really does feel like the kind of movie you have to see more than once, so I don’t mind.

Now I kinda want to check out the butchered theatrical cut out of curiosity and comparison.

an awesome movie, you encouraged me to watch it again

Happy to hear that, go for it

Just saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Was anticlimactic.

I loved how anticlimactic it was.

The Ridiculous Spiderman - Nah, it wasn’t all that bad really. It just wasn’t as good as I would have preferred. I think I liked Toby more than Garfield.

Avengers might just be my favorite movie ever made so far. I just watched that again too.

really? christ

I recently watched the LOTR movies again.

I still can’t tell whether Peter Jackson is a shit director or whether he deliberately made the movies seem like 3h episodes of Xena, Warrior Princess.

Derp, double post.
