I remember being 12 and thinking Constantine was great.
I rewatched it 6 years later and found out how mistaken I was.

Iām 26. I saw it about three years ago, and I thought it was good. I felt that Keanu Reeves did an excellent followup to the Matrix movies by playing the SAME EXACT ROLE. Otherwise it was a pretty cool supernatural thriller of sorts.
Watched Wreck it Ralph this weekend, with my little girl. Loses steam in the last half of the film.
Cloud Atlas, probably one of my most favorite movies of all time.
District 9 was produced by Jackson and only cost $30 million iirc. The director was Neill Blomkamp.
I want to see this movie so much.
Moon. 'twas like the Odyssey of year 2001 but instead of being brilliant it was bad
Moon was an awesome movie. Not as good as 2001 but it was really good sci-fi.
Actually, if you ignore how innovative 2001 was, Moon is the better movie. The story actually makes sense. Kubric made a very beautiful movie, but the story it tells is far from good.
It had a story? I thought that HAL just poisoned the life support system with acid.
It did have a story. It was told better in the book because it had a lot more room for things but there is definitely a story. I can see being confused at like the last 20 minutes or so but everything before that is pretty coherent. Or maybe itās because Iāve read the book :retard: .
Acid? Did you even watch the movie?
Yes, I did.
I meant acid as in LSD. It was a joke.
Ah, okay, I understand now. Sorry . But yeah, my brother always says that 2001 didnāt have a story so I get kind of mad when other people say it as well because itās not that hard to follow until like I said the last 20 minutes or so.
Yeah, it was very weird, and the lack of dialogue or exposition made it hard to understand what was going on.
I just caught the last half of Resident Evil: Afterlife.
It was pretty cool in an absurd, over-the-top action way.
Actually, it can be difficult to follow before that as they say so little throughout the movie. Each scene takes forever to play out. Kubric made a movie about space with a subplot about a monolith, and an ending thatā¦ Wellā¦ Itās thereā¦

Tower Heist
Probably the most fun movie Eddie Murphy has been in since Shrek. There were some completely ridiculous scenes in it, but it wasnāt so jarring that I couldnāt suspend disbelief. It was just entertaining, which is all that I wanted from it, and it was enjoyable, and I laughed.
2001 is quite possibly the slowest movie ever made.
You could play a time-lapse in real time and it would be faster than 2001.
Just watched skyfall.
Fucking awesome.
Star Trek: The (slow) Motion Picture.
a time-lapse in real time? what does that even mean?
