hi. Can you add me to the list? I also have some recommendations about the rules of the tourney. I am the creator of dm_pro_crossfire and I also made a set of server settings to mimic HL1 gameplay more closely. This ruleset changes lots of gameplay variables. For example HL1 ammolimits, no respawn delay after death, more agile player movement with increased groundacceleration but slightly decreased maxspeed (300 instead of 320 ups max), increased jumphight to HL1 default, reduced longjump length to HL1 default, changed falldamage threshold to HL1 default, no trails on zoomed crossbow, adjusted weapon damage and wallgauss effectiveness… However… When I tested these settings on a online dedicated server with more than just 1 player, the server crashed (it was tested on a dedicated server of a guy called ‘HLTV’). I guess it had to do with the changed weapon settings. Anyway I would recommend to play the tournament with 20 minutes timelimit, no respawn delay, HL1 style threshold for falldamage, increased groundacceleration and 300 ups max, because it will give players enaugh time to make a comeback and turn the game around. The movement will feel more direct and will allow players to peek and dodge better. The falldamage and respawn changes will make the game more fast, more dynamic and more fair (since a gauss players usually take more falldamage than other players and faster respawn makes it harder for the in control player to keep control over all important items). Let me know what you think about it. I’ve been inactive for quite a while but it’s always fun to play some 1v1s on crossfire

hi, sure mate, I added you.

you could join us on discord and discuss with us. We should get the fast spawn plugin from the creator, as promised. The other changes are welcome.

we need +3 players to start the tournament.

ggs.

It was a great Tournement.

Maybe in future the Spectators can have a HUD too to view the Scores. Also the Names only refreshen when pressing Tab, that was fixed once but came back with the last update.
Also all Spectators were wearing Glocks, so Players saw floating Glocks in the Map

Many Players critised the bad Sounds, they couldnt hear the Steps from the Enemy, i have to agree with that.

Thx for this. Was a lot of fun!
