Same thing or different?
Tomato sauce is way better. Especially on pies and sausage rolls. I tried Heinz Ketchup once and it was way too sugary. Ketchup is more of an American thing anyway I suppose.
Tomato Sauce
Was I suppose to say more?
Ketchup is delicious on some things, tomato sauce is delicious on others. You would never put ketchup on a pizza, for example, but you would never put tomato sauce on a hotdog. It’s not either or, it’s fabulous culinary variety!
Try putting ketchup on spaghetti.
Now try with tomato sauce.
I’m sure we can all agree that tomato sauce tastes better.
And basically what Psyborg said.
Same. We’ve been through this you ignorant American.
I prefer Tomato Sauce.
Tomato Ketchup is acidic.
We also have already had this discussion, Winged.
I never knew there was a difference! Here in the UK supermarkets have bottles of sauce and they are labeled either tomato ketchup or tomato sauce.
Ketchup is basically tomato sauce with sugar added. It makes for excellent meatloaf and is a respectable basis for a cheap, homemade sauce (e.g. barbeque, Western dressing, etc.). It also can’t be beat with French fries, and can actually be bought pretty gourmet if you’re willing to spend the money.
Don’t forget the vinegar. It usually has vinegar added too.
I thought we settled this already?
OMGWTFBBQPwnSauce
It’s good to see you’re being productive since your ban.
You dense moron.
You fucking couldn’t accept the truth in the chat so you came here.
Tomato Sauce and Ketchup are the same.
But in your moronic country they call tomato paste/marinara tomato sauce, we fucking told you that, fucking get it into your head.
What the fucking christ? I thought everyone knew catsup was better.
Ketchup…Catsup…Ketchup…Catsup…
Ketsup or Catchsup
CATSOUP!! OMNOMNOM!!
psyborg hit the nail on the head.
What’s depressing is that this ISN’T the stupidest argument we’ve ever had on this forum.
