Japan Earthquake

They all died.

i’m more worried about this.

Oh, come on. Shit happens, you don’t have to hate on people who don’t care much for it.

Did Japan come to aid during Katrina? Why should we give a shit about Japan’s national disaster? The nuclear plants? Pffffft.

Point?

your point is invalid, that’s the point

this is not enough.
Make a video.

Apparently

There is no “we” to this issue. Some people have sympathy or empathy for other humans, others don’t.

People devoid of human sympathy/empathy are free to express as much. But they should expect that most people will think that they’re complete assholes. In fact, lack of sympathy/empathy is probably the defining characteristic of The Classic Asshole.

Personally, I’m not offended by what someone may want to post or express, so if people really need to express giddy joy over a mass tragedy or proclaim that they ‘had it cummin cuz they ain’t my nationality/race/religion, etc’ - go right ahead.

I think they did that on the last page.

Can it be a snuff film?

…W…T…f…

People like them give conservatives a bad name.

Oh no, not earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions in Hawaii! Those things have never happened there!

People have been fearing the end for as long they exist. It’s like a social ritual that has a thousand different functions for society, like:

Pastime, motivator, artistic inspiration, social disciplination, etc. etc. Fun is how every christian century thinks it’s the last.

Sigh. Nobody studies history anymore…

So apparently one of their reactors is close to meltdown.

So that’d suck.

As it is, this disaster has probably pushed them back at least fifteen years.

I haven’t head anything about a meltdown. I know someone that lives in Japan and he says that the area around the plant is relatively safe and that western media is blowing it out of proportion.

Or they’re telling everyone in Japan they are fine so a national panic doesn’t occur.
