It's been fun. It will always be.

With launch looming minutes away I just wanted to say it has been fun. Having been here for so long (I’ve lurked longer than you know) it’s going to be a strange feeling post release. A measurable portion of my life has been following the media releases, reading dev blogs, lurking the forums, and more recently participating in the community. Waiting for bm has become a norm and it’s going to be shattered in T-30 minutes.

It’s been a blast waiting with all of you, and here’s to another almost eight years of fun.

Indeed, let the games begin.

I will have to start looking for a job now… and maybe move out of my parent’s house… :frowning:

You have a weird sense of fun… Wait, so do I… Carry on

This place was absolute chaos back in the day. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was almost like the online multiplayer shooters a decade ago.

The majority of summers and weekend’s past have been spent lurking and occasionally posting here, all whilst trolling through the wiki. Been a blast and now the moment we’ve all be waiting for is here. Leaving me with the question of now what?

Yeah, 's been cool and all.

I don´t know if it had absolutely anything to do with black mesa itself, but this forum has certainly been “different”

I still love you all <3

8-friggin minutes

These 8 minutes are going to feel longer than the past 8 years.

All good things…

must come to an end.

Sadder than Toy story 3 ending

ohgodohgodohgodohgodohgod, i can’t wait

this is the longest 6 minutes of my life

You’ll wait another 1 hour to download the thing. Don’tcha worry my darling.

It went to a 403

I like some of you. That is all. <3

Love you guys, I’ll read the thread later though, it’s almost time!

<3

A couple of minutes to go and the forum is still responsive lol.

edit: oh…one minute to go…

Yes, I love y’all. See you on the other side. <3

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
