Seeing as my phone’s broken and I’m using an old Sony Ericsson that is horribly slow and can’t access the net (kinda sucks when I often still expect mails after work), I’m happy with what they announced. And I might pick one up from when they release it in Belgium (guess I can hold out for a month or so).
However, I doubt any changes will have been made to the price. $299 in US = €550 in Belgium for god knows what reason. Had something to do with coupled sales being forbidden in Belgium, but because of the iPhone, they changed that a year or so ago. So who knows, we might actually get relatively cheap iPhones here (or at least half the price the old ones went for).
But yea, proper internet/mail, video conferencing, front-to-back camera, quality camera for video and photo, amazing display (seriously, 326 ppi… that shit’s tight), the iPhone so far has been extremely fast (something that couldn’t be said about the bunch of Android phones I tried recently… the OS felt laggy and chunky), iLife and iWork, fancy looks and sturdier.
If the price is right over here (meaning anything below (or just around) €300), I’ll get one.
Will very much be selling my ipod touch and getting this.
