Install not working at all, I think I've tried everything

I’m trying to install BM, but it isnt appearing in my Steam Library.
I have:
Installed Source SDK 2007
Extracted the files into the BMS directory
Restarted Steam and my PC
Tried changing the ID on gameinfo.txt to 215 (apparently that helps)

it still will not show up in my library. Any help?

Is the steam install on the c drive or is it on a different drive?

The BMS directory? The mod needs to be installed into the sourcemods folder. Is that what you meant?

Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods

I heard you had to put in the directory Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods\BMS Should I try just putting it in sourcemods?

That looks correct. The folders do not go sourcemods\bms\bms\ correct? What’s inside your BMS folder?

Specifics? Sounds like the stuff you extracted from those files is actually the installer and whatnot, not the mod files.

Ok nevermind, it turns out i didnt need an extra folder just called BMS
