Install error message

Hi - I keep getting the error message:

“setup file ‘gameinfo.txt’ doesn’t exist in subdirectory ‘C:\Program Files (x86)Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods\BMS’. Check your game parameter or VCONFIG settings.”

I have downloaded the following:

blackmesa-setup
BlackMesa.7z
BlackMesa.md5
7-zip

It seems to work just fine and says I must start it to get it in Steam and then the error message pops. Any suggestions - please?
