if it was strictly one million dollars that would be ridiculous, since someone with a million and one dollars would no longer be considered a millionaire

Multi-millionaire is the word you’re looking for. Its far more associated with people who live in mansions and drive Veyrons. Its a connotation thing, admittedly, but those are just as important as definitions.
