Implanting translations from bmtranslate to Black Mesa ?

Hello,

It’s been nearly 3 years now that a forum has been created (https://bmtranslate.darkbb.com) in order to translate all of Black Mesa, and I don’t know about other languages, but French is long done, and I assume a lot of other languages are done too.

The question I wanted to asked to the Crowbar Collective (if they read me !) is, why haven’t you implanted all of our completed translations in the game ?

We had you in touch a few years ago about that but got so few responses we didn’t know until now if they’ll be or not our translation.

Thanks again for your great work, i’m looking forward to see what you did with Xen.

Yep, that’s really thing, so would one of the DEV’s PLEASE respond to this ? Are you even planning to update the retail with translations ? If so, could there be possibly something in for us as well (you know, like the additional credits in the free mod, that was a really nice gesture of you). With enough time and man power we could even think about recording voicees on our own

That is the lovely thing about being on steam now isnt it… updates can be done seamlessly without people having to go grab download updates.

True, but for that the update has to be done first

and at least some from the Translation team are in contact with Kevin Sisk right now, so we’ll have this sorted out sooner or later (expect it mor later-ish though).

So, while I’m at it : EVERYONE INVOLED OR WANTING TO BECOME INVOLVED WITH THE TRANSLATION FOR THE BLACKMESA RETAIL RELEASE, HOP OVER TO THE TRANSLATION FORUMS PRIVATE AREA RIGHT NOW !!!

Click me <<< (If you can’t access or don’t see the privat area, shoot Jokerine a message)

PS: thanks again for helping me access the forums Catz !

You are very welcome and welcome back!

Edit your link, it’s not the good one, this one’s right : https://bmtranslate.darkbb.com/

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
