On the updated index page, there is the reload button that changes the image. What it actually does it reloads the whole page.
Could you change it so it uses javascript/ajax so it loads new content or images inline instead of refreshing the whole page. I know it’s not a big deal, but having it do that seems very amateur.
I don’t think you’re supposed to sit there and scroll through images, it’s just there so you see a different background every time you visit. I’d assume.
the webpage will get a full redesign once mod is released, hubi would have to rewrite almost the whole page do what you’re asking, so no point of doing it twice
I agree it’s a little bit nonsense suggestion, but technically speaking, there is absolutely no need to rewrite the whole page for that.
You could have a simple javascript function, which picks a random background and a random quote. It’s not that hard really.
If this is the same system that was used to randomly select images last time, then please don’t bring it back. It never worked for me and many other people, just crashed the homepage
