My guess is something must melt the ice, probably a large energy explosion or some shit, and the borealis falls back into the water (in a massive first person interactive cut-scene hopefully)

Perhaps you manage to turn on the teleporter on the Borealis and end up in the middle of the ocean?
Could you see the sky? The ocean could of been Xen for all we know. Older teleporters might not of used the newer technology.
If you were going to teleport it at all, I doubt you would teleport it to the ocean. Why not teleport immediately to a certain rebel base.
I doubt it would leave the ice at all, if it’s even still frozen in ice. It would just be used or blown-up on the spot.

Well I believe they are building a whole other floor for the fact it may require a lot of people or a lot of beta testers, plus some other junk they might need to put up there.
