I want one of these

:awesome:

I’ve literally wanted one of these since I was 8 years old or so.

Not this year, dear, maybe for your birthday.

…I’ve seen the first and third before, which are kind of ridiculous, but not the Humdinga. I actually understand what the it’s going after, a really effective niche. It’s actually a pretty good design which demands further research (and a better name).

By the way, take your three links and suck it, I’d rather have one of these.

One of the above, or one of each? Because I do, too.

Meh, I’d really prefer if these people spent their time on flying cars. Boat cars are just so 1944.

Except if you fly, there’s no fucking purpose to drive on the ground. At least boat-cars have a purpose. The reason these are neat is because they can do both of them pretty well, instead of doing them both really shittily. Which is what a flying car would do, drive like shit and fly like shit.

Or they could of course fly well and drive well. Although I will defer to your superior abilities of randomly making up the future. Plus boatcars have been done for 60 years. We should move on.

im scared of large bodies of water and car crashes oh god car crashes in the water

I’m afraid I don’t share those fears.

…oh god plane crashes underground

PLANES CRASHING INTO CARS IN UNDERGROUND BODIES OF WATER

HOLY SHIT that’s actually possible under current physics.

We just need to get a car and tiny plane down here:

And a lack of cave-ins.

So you need armor and heavy weapons on your boat-cars? How manly of you.

Besides, it’s based on the Humdinga.

have a punctured lung
than waste my breath on you.
(Err, sorry, I thought this was the Quote thread. I guess you also confused it for the Manly thread.)

Sure it’s based on the Humdinga, but it’s better-ized. More defensively & offensively capable. Plus it goes faster on the water, which is cooler. And I’d hate to have a standard Humdinga in the rain or snow… or hot summer sun… no wonder “I’d rather have one of these.”

And then a helicopter owns you. Air is simply the way to go.

One cannot own what one cannot see.

submerges too
