OMG dude, I remember when I was like 5 and my dad bought me that game. net to Half-Life, this game was like second in my child hood memories. I remember I would always play it on an old Pentium Gateway in the garage running '98. Good times, good times. I seriously have totally forgot about that game since then, though I have wondered about it a few times. Thanks for bringing up the name, I’m gonna go find and play it now. Be as much of a time capsule shock as Half-Life after haven’t played it in 8 years… .
I refuse to leave XP because Windows 7 has no classic theme. I mean - it has one, but it’s faked and buggy. Until a windows operating system with the classic theme like XP comes along, or XP is no longer supported by new software, I’m not upgrading. Heck, I’d downgrade to windows 2000 if new programs worked on it.
I see it, most of the pixels are in the wrong place, the last OS that had it right was Win 2000.
I like my SlanXP theme for 7 even though it looks worse than the XP version.
What’s wrong with just playing with the colors? Windows 7 looks pretty nice when you got things just the right shade.
And you have the shade of hell and blood.
Of course.
Too bad nothing works with Windows 1.0 these days…
Fuck, I wish Crysis ran on DOS.
I know, right?
Fuck new technology. It’s just so new and better… :fffuuu:
Fuck, I wish Crysis ran on A PILE OF ROCKS.
LOL Vista
He just said it was Windows 7.
is see this thread continues to be popular, its stupid frankly
Your only thread that is actually interesting is popular?
is see you continue to be an idiot, its sad frankly
Here’s a bit of nostalgia for you all - https://www.snotr.com/video/522
My current Windows startup music is the Packard Bell Windows 98 theme, but too bad it’s not in the video
I recently acquired a Toshiba Satellite S1410-604 with these specs:
C P U : Intel Celeron 1.8GHz
R A M : 512MB
G r a p h i c s : GeForce 4 Go
L C D : 1024x768 native resolution (4 : 3)
H D D : 4200RPM 30GB Toshiba
I installed Windows 7 for shits and giggles and it actually works pretty good. At least I can watch X-Files on it and it fits the 4 : 3 screen perfectly.
Adobe Flash runs like molasses though which is not a surprise. The computer did come with Windows XP Home Edition originally.
But the computer is slow. Perfectly usable for SD video and browsing and office tasks even with Windows 7 but the slow HDD makes you wait for stuff now and then.
So I am currently installing Ubuntu Linux 9.10 on it to see how that fares.
Then the big question is which also keeps it on topic: Do you think I can run Windows 98 on it?
Install Crysis.
