I may have met another forumer..

I know of Stainland, indeed. I’ll grant you honorary Tyke status and let you live then, mate. :stuck_out_tongue:

Very gracious of you, when do I get my whippet and flat cap ?

You’ve not got them? I blame the postal strikes.

Woohoo, they’ve arrived…

Haha, awesome.

Although 1) Fred Dibnah, awesome though he was, was a Lancastrian.
2) Stout is a drink invented in London and now famously associated with Ireland (ie, Guinness), so not sure how that fits in. A good one (ie, NOT Guinness) is the drink of champions, though, I’ll grant them that.

Fred Dibnah - rest t’soul - is from Bolton. Like me! YAY. Also, Flat Cap is the name of a Bolton-brewed bitter and it’s fookin’ lovely.

Awesome. What’s the name of the brewery, I shall keep an eye out for it?

EDIT: Never mind,Bank Top, google tells me. They have an awesome website that plays blues music at you! Will definitely give their ales a try if I get the chance.

Actually my favourite brewery is in Lancashire anyway: Pictish, in Rochdale. Every beer they make is sublime.

[COLOR=‘Blue’]Moorhouses FTW :smiley:

Black Cat and Pendle Witche’s Brew I’ve had and they’re awesome.

I think it’s time we made a beer thread. :awesome:

Anyone here from scotland? maybe even Glasgow/edinburgh/ayr/girvan?

Lamsey is, but he’s not been around much recently.

I live in Chorley atm (pretty near Bolton). My brother lives in Lancaster though.

Somebody find that old Google map that had the placemarks of forum members locations, if it still exists.

OWEN COYLE, DUH DUN DUH DA!

Haha, thats for JohnnyX, he lives in the same town as me. WE HATE BASTARDS!

Its still up on the GN forums somewhere I think, there’s was also an even older leak-free map that would be interesting to see.

It’s right here.

There’s this one too
.

ijgs owns the second map… who owns the first one?

The second one is from Ijgs. But I don’t know for the first.

it should be obvious, but how do I tag myself in the first one?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
