i cant see weapons :(

i downloaded black mesa today

i cant see weapons
and i dont know why
i have weapon models
i cant see bombs-guns=ALL WEAPONS on my hand.
but i can see all weapons on npcs
i downloaded Black Mesa from : https://www.blackmesasource.com on torrent mirror

and my black mesa have no gcf its just Mod

same problem here.

Intel i5 2500k
16gb DDR3
Windows 7 64-bit
nVidia 260 gtx
dual monitors

running at 1920 x 1080, 16:9

I saw the guns etc for about the first 40 minutes of game play but now they’re gone. Not sure what to do? Tried the r_drawviewmodel 1 trick with no luck. Also tried changing resolution just to force a re-render, but every time i do, Black Mesa just freezes and I have to kill the process.

Any ideas or help on this?

OK - so this worked for me, so maybe it can help someone else.

went to developer console and typed “r_drawviewmodels 1” (without the quotes of course)

went to an office and picked up a chair. when I threw the chair away, my pistol showed up.

Apparently, this was nothing a temper tantrum couldn’t solve.
