I was at my friends house and he started playing Half-Life 2, one demo later and I was buying it. After finishing HL2 and both the episodes I decided to get Half-Life to see how it all began.

I played through the HL2 demo and it got me hooked!

I then bought HL on Steam (for only $5 :smiley: ) and then purchased Half-Life Complete!

I had been thinking about buying Portal after finally getting DSL from Dial up and watching trailers of Portal. In one of the related videos was Freeman’s Mind, I thought they were funny so I wanted the game. After finally installing steam from the Orange Box, I bought Half life: source and beat it, then remembered about the Orange Box and beat the other half life games. Liked them, so I bought Blue Shift and Opposing Force.

I saw an ad for OpFor on the back of the instruction manual for Homeworld (which was a REALLY awesome game).

Started HL1 when my friend got me it on Steam around 2004. Still haven’t finished it to this day

Got the orange box for christmas, Was merely intrested in Team Fortress 2, but I decided to try out the other games on there, and even though I never played the first one, I absolutley loved it

I was intorduced in year 7 when me and all my mates would just play Half-Life Deathmatch and Team Fortress during Computers class. I got hooked and havent looked back.
