How to enable multicore rendering

Hi, i want to know how to force multicore rendering, cause the game uses just one of my cpu’s cores (q6600), and it’s not possible doesnt go smooth this game with my rig (q6600+hd6850 4gb ram win7 64bit 1680*1050)

As far as I know, the Source engine version (2007 I think) doesn’t support multicore rendering; otherwise it’d be available in the advanced video options. Maybe someone else can help you though :\

See Question 3.4 on https://wiki.blackmesasource.com/Troubleshooting_FAQ for the fix!

Ooooh, thanks cygnus!

thanks to all, now i read the faq

Oh yeah Thaaaank you very much for nothing!
So any idiot has noticed that windows set it to default after exiting the game?
I think not!
And i CAN’T switch between BMS and Windows via ALT+TAB (game freeze)

So what’s app with you BMS-Team?
You can’t give us statements of future multi-core plans?
or you don’t want?
