How to disable the gamepad?

I plugged in my Logitech F510 (the brand endorsed by Valve) and BM detects it.

However, the controls are not the default HL2 ones, but some weird configuration.

I’m using Xpadder, a key-press emulator. BM detects my gamepad, which gets in the way of Xpadder.

How do I prevent BM from responding to my gamepad?
