how much would you pay if BM wasn't free?

To be fair, I would probably pay somewhere between $30.00 and $60.00 just so their hard work doesn’t go unrewarded.

About € 47.30

Oh look, it’s that thread again. :frowning:

ib4 BM will come out with HL3 in a pink box

and oh, I would send the dev team a fruit basket…

I’d pay about 8000 Ft.
But since Black Mesa will be free, well one has to find an other way to thank the dev team.

$119.99 AU For Collector’s Edition, Soundtrack, Artwork, steel case, code to unlock gold crowbar.
$499.99 AU for HEV Edition, comes with the suit, fully operating.

I could happily pay £20 if I had to, but not more, as it’s a game and I can live without it when it comes to deciding between that and rent!

I would pay way more if I had more money, though.

Edit:

OMG you’re Hungarian? So am I!

Observing that game developers tend to get ~$2.50 per sold retail copy, I’d be generous and pay $7.50.

Absolutely nothing before all the time that I have been waiting for this, without anykind of good news… In any case, I already paid for the origianal Half-life and this game is perfectly enough to me. I want see Black Mesa, to see the grate job of this guys, thats all. But if they said “Free” a long time ago, it will be Free. In other way, I prefer continue with mi original Half-life. But, If Black Mesa was from Valve, and was an original game from them, then, in that case, I could paid the price put by Valve.

I would give 2 pubic hairs and all the lint in my bellybutton

All of it. I’d pay all of it.

Probably $20. That’s all I ever pay for any videogame.

I lol’d. What a great, nice, piece of nonsense shit

After all these years waiting for this mod, if I’m going to play this mod, someone’s going to pay ME!

Now seriously, I’d pay like 1000 Kwanzas

Yeah because if you saw a game you liked which you set a price you would pay nothing because you had to wait for the game to be released? Is that what you are saying?

AND are you saying, you would pay Valve if they made it but not the original dev team because they are not valve?

Im trying to make sense of your uninformed bullshit…

Where I come from, games always cost around 95$. So I’d probably buy it even if it were to cost this exceedingly much.

Ughhhh, this sounds familiar…

I’d pay 20-30$ for it that’s it though

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
